Taking shots in a hotel is never a trivial thing. It involves internalizing the structure, its history, its style and thinking about its target and its vocation.

When I plan a shooting in a hotel, my goal is to bring out the style of the hotel by combining everything with the wishes of the customers.
A photographer cannot fail to consider all this, and cannot fail to do so even before shooting. He has to do it even in the choice of models, something in which I consider myself obsessive.

I dedicate a lot of time to the briefing on the spot with the model, to get together in the right mood and to breathe each shot before seeing it on the display.

Only in this way does the photographer respect the place that receives him and welcomes tourists and wayfarers in the hope that they will breathe his soul.

Yet how many really know what the emotionality of a photo shoot should translate into? Few. Very few. And this is because today, more and more often, a camera and a computer are enough to become photographers. But real, professional photography is imbued with culture, experience and experiences and the deepest sense of feelings such as joy, nostalgia, admiration, surprise or even sadness, values with which we grow and improve only if strongly internalized.

And here the only thing that really counts in photography is emotion, the ability to excite and to leave a memory in the viewer. And this isn't just a photographer, it's not just that photographer with a camera and computer. A photographer who is above all a human being with values does it, a professional with a life made up of "experience and experiences" behind him, a wealth of studies and memories, traces, furrows, placed there, on the edge of creativity and called together, if necessary, by eyes hungry for light with which to write stories. Of "photography", in fact. And each photograph represents a communicative decision, an act that is anything but innocent, a precise choice that we make. A photo shot is not the same as cameras, sensors or lenses. Those are mere tools. Professional equipment and careful post-production are things that a true professional should take for granted.

Gabriele Cucolo, founder and creator of the project born in 1998, is a photographer in Tuscany but available to operate throughout Italy and abroad.Over the years he has specialized in advertising photography for hotels, food photography and restaurant interiors. Chosen and accredited by WIX as an Ambassador, he then became a partner of the well-known Tel Aviv CMS with the position of "Wix Specialist". He is a teacher of advertising photography and a speaker for Confesercenti Turismo Toscana. In the tourism sector, he has more than three thousand photographic services and hundreds of videos to his credit.
